We're delighted to welcome you to Springfields Gardens – 15 acres of beautiful, diverse landscape designed for everyone to explore and enjoy.
The gardens are managed by Springfields Horticultural Society Ltd (Registered Charity No. 253736), a charitable organisation responsible for planting, maintenance and development.
As a Royal Horticultural Society Partner Garden, we're proud to offer a space where nature, community, and horticulture come together. Whether you're seeking inspiration for your own garden, looking for a peaceful place to relax, or hoping to deepen your plant knowledge, there's something here for you.
What we offer:
- Free admission 364 days a year (we close only on Christmas Day)

Springfields Gardens Upcoming Events
Discover the hidden world of Springfields Gardens after hours with our exclusive Evening Tree Walk!
Join our Garden Curator and Plant Specialist Andy, alongside resident tree surgeon George, for a captivating 90-minute guided walk through the gardens as the sun goes down. Together, they bring a wealth of knowledge about the remarkable trees and rich history of the site — from identifying species to sharing fascinating stories you won't find on any information board.
This is a rare opportunity to experience the gardens in a whole new light — quite literally — in the peaceful quiet of the evening, after the gates have closed to the public.

Springfields Horticultural Society is delighted to host a live recording of this iconic programme at the Springfields Events & Conference Centre in Spalding. Bring along your gardening questions and hear them answered on the spot by a panel of expert horticulturists, chaired by the ever-popular Peter Gibbs.
With over 75 years of history and millions of weekly listeners, Gardeners’ Question Time is renowned for its lively, unscripted advice—no questions are seen in advance, so every answer is fresh, insightful and often surprising!
Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just starting out, this is a unique opportunity to experience a Radio 4 favourite live and be part of the show. Don’t miss your chance to join the audience—and maybe even have your question answered on air!
